The Artist’s identity card, enlarged and multiplied by the number of officially recognised nations – plus some peoples and ethnic groups not yet recognised and/or subject to oppression, erasure or conflict – envisages an ideal harmony among all the peoples of the earth, wishing them respect and recognition beyond struggles and prejudice…

DECLARATION OF IDENTITY, being One with all the peoples of the earth – October–December

Symbolic Action in Body Art, Public Art, Urban Art, Participatory Art – installation at Be Good, contrada Tora, Potenza, October–December

It begins with the DAY OF CONTEMPORARY ART, sixth edition of the national event organised by AMACI, the Association of Italian Contemporary Art Museums, from 9 October 2010

DECLARATION OF IDENTITY, conceived in 2004, is made up of 210 identity cards, all of them the artist’s, and proposes a vision of peace and union starting from her own person: having entered an identity crisis voluntarily and consciously, she emerges from it by adhering to every citizenship, determinedly acquiring the status and responsibility of honorary citizen of the world.

Beyond any – however productive – provocation, the work envisages a real connection and harmony among all the peoples of the earth; but for this it is indispensable to change our personal perception of Humanity, and to see all the peoples of the earth, without any distinction, as one with us.

The first “declarations of identity” date back to the beginning of the third millennium:
