Multi-purpose event with Stanislao Nievo

Manifestazione polivalente con Stanislao Nievo

Exhibition of paintings and photographs, installation, screening of the videos produced by the cultural centre, publications, educational itinerary, presentation by Stanislao Nievo. Biblioteca Nazionale, Potenza, March–April 2000

Teri Volini has widened her web, starting from nature and weaving, as she writes, “a ritual in search of harmony” that goes beyond the boundaries it started from and takes up their blurred design, as if it were the soul of a very ancient reality that does not change its register but has always hidden it beneath the veil of stones and earthquakes, waterfalls and hurricanes. Presenting an artist through her intentions, even before her works are in some way visible, is a sign of mutual listening and of the transmission of a language of moods. It is the way of communicating of the shamanic relationship, which always performs its liturgical action with its own techniques, never catalogued, springing from a mysterious exchange with the very elements that make up the planet we move on, made since forever of water and fire, air and earth. This is probably the first transmission of thought, which has found expression in so many parts of the world. And we recognise in Teri Volini’s artistic attempt, and in her web, the resurfacing of this fundamental communication.
