The Work

I AM ONE WITH THE FRUITS OF THE EARTH,

created as the crowning of the series

I AM ONE WITH THE AIR, WITH THE WATER, WITH THE SUN, WITH THE TREES…,

reminds us of the deep union of human beings with nature and all its elements, and at the same time demands that the Fruits we eat be as whole and healthy as possible, for our health and for the preservation of future generations and of the Planet we live on.

If with painting she already exalted and magnified the beauty and generosity of Mother Earth, for more than a decade the Artist has practised an art directly aimed at defending and honouring the Planet, with research, publications, performances, symbolic actions, videos and installations.

From the declaration of being one with nature and with all beings, through the weaving of the gigantic Web of red thread stretched between two peaks of the Castelmezzano “dolomites” in 1999, strengthened in 2002 by the practice of Mudras and the writing of Mandalas; from the promise to achieve real harmony with the planet by sending it messages of love and respect (Message in the Bottle, Rionero in Vulture, 2005);

to the alarmed call to our insensitivity (Tentacular Invasions, Potenza, 2007), up to The Beautiful Earth, a complex series of participatory art events to raise awareness among young people and civil society on environmental issues, directly linked to the expansion of our personal consciousness (2009–2011); and on to the Artist’s Manifestos in fivefold installation and the Works of collective self-awareness.
