“The Dance of the Rope” is also the title of a triptych painted by the Artist, in which a red thread links three maidens engaged in a joyful, cosmic creative dance (THE FEMININE TRINITY DANCING LIFE). The Red Ribbon, virtually leaving the painting, grows and extends indefinitely, taking on a life of its own and so beginning its Journey. The Dance of the Rope is closely connected with the principle of UNIVERSAL HARMONY, evoking on the one hand the “vibrating strings” – the infinitesimal particles which science today, having moved beyond even the concept of the “atom”, tells us we are made of; on the other, the strings of instruments, and so the Primordial Sound, the ORIGINAL VIBRATION…; and on yet another, “Cor, CORDIS”, the Heart, reminding us of the very close relationship between our inner beat and the pulse of the immense Universal Body…
