Art allows us to dialogue with the Invisible: memories, dreams, mystery, magic, presences… everything that lies beyond pure and simple sensory perception is brought “over here” by the artist, in her role as a medium between worlds.

The same energy that creates the work, thanks to the strength of its authenticity, enters – through the senses, above all the eyes – the mind and heart of whoever pays attention, who is thus made a participant in those other realities.

Exploring the invisible world reaches its highest point when – in a search founded on the expansion of consciousness – we turn deeply to the spiritual.

Then the dialogue with the invisible – within and all around us – can leave powerful traces.

Working directly in the air that contains us and at the same time fills us, allowing us to live, the Artist draws in it the gestures and movements of a Celebration: prayer, invocation, contemplation, meditation, dance or song.

The traces of light of the sacred Mudras WARE SOKU KAMI NARI – I am a being of Light – and JINRUI SOKU KAMI NARI – Humanity is a being of Light – reveal and manifest, personifying it, the catalysing magnetic wave that pervades us, holding us suspended in the constant emphasis of the numinousness that is our true essence…

A work in synergy with the poem of the same title published in the book UNIVERSI.

Some of Teri’s poems act as a counterpoint to her paintings or performances. Heightening feeling and vision nonetheless leaves the different modes of expression independent of one another: the poems are not meant to describe the other works, nor are the latter meant to illustrate the former. What matters is the balance, the happy union that is created, the synergy that arises, in that attempt to achieve the harmony and beauty at the heart of all Teri’s research.
